wishes don't come true but prayers do and sometimes not with the answers we expect but with so much better and on His time not ours.
The Lord is there by you just like He was there with the Israelites through the desert. The desert made them strong. You are in the desert but He is carrying You to a better life than what is now and I know that that is hard to see through your pain but it will happen in His time, He has not abandoned you and never will...Trust Him.
