Pool Time!

We took advantage of the warm weather and went over to the Robinson's pool. We all took a dip in it while the grandparents were away! I thought the pool was cold but the kids didn't seem to mind.

Realized today!

I have been up since 5:30 am cause of my little sweet Grace and it is after 1 pm and I realized today that I have been too high maintance with myself in regards to getting stuff done! I mostly have so much on my plate on my day off or weekends and want to get so many projects done on top of housework on top of hanging out with the kids and Lar and I was getting frustrated that I wasn't getting everything done! Today I told myself I was going to do one project only and forget about the rest and you know what I am feeling totally refreshed and feel like I have accomplished something because I got that project done and many more! So note to self only plan one project a day and enjoy the rest of the day along with regular chores and once those are done see what else you can do. So that is my plan from now on! One project only and not to stress out that I didn't get everything done! I have also told myself that I can't nap like I want to. I would try to get the kids down at the same time so I could sleep myself since I get up one or 2 times still in the middle of the night with Grace and than sometimes Hunter that I am toast for the day. But I just got to deal with toast and keep myself up during their nap cause I go do stuff during it that I wouldn't be able to do if I was sleeping. It is crazy what you tell yourself to do and how it changes how you look at your day and life. Don't get me wrong I still might take a nap here and there but it will not be everyday that I am home with the kids anymore.

On to the pics! For some reason my photo's take forever to download if I do a group of them so I have to do them one at a time which is time consuming but oh well.

Grace in her bumbo chair w/ tray that the neighbours gave us. I had a blue bumbo chair for Hunter but than they got recalled so I had my mother take it back. I didn't know that they came with trays! I actually love this bumbo chair and wish I would have saved Hunter's blue one cause we could have given it to Nate! Oh well. This is the first time I put Grace in her bumbo chair which was today. Love the messy face and she is totally checking out the tray.Hunter today at lunch time. He is watching Seasame street that is why he is so serious. I promise you he does smile and laughs. Don't you think he looks ALOT like Larry in this pic?!My sweet Grace sucking on her fingers. When she gets bored or can't reach a toy she finds her fingers. She just goes to town on them. You can her her sucking away. Hunter has learned to put his fingers in his mouth from her. Lovely.We learned the other day that if Grace sleeps on her side she sleeps alot longer. It was the same with Hunter. I use her sea horse muscial to keep her on her side. We have two of these sea horses because it lights up and Hunter loves things that light up. He calls it horse sea.

Big 'ole head!

My poor Grace has Hunter's head. I have no clue where my kids get their heads but they are big! I am actually thankful that Grace has a big head cause she was tiny when she was born and I didn't want her to look like she had a small head standing next to her brother when they were older. Grace has been working on lifting her head and when she does her big ole feet go straight off the ground too. She has gotten better with practice and this weekend she kept her head up for a long time before making a fuss which is what she usually does. Of course I ran for the camera and snapped a few pics of her. So here they are and than some of Hunter when he first tried and than a later one with his big ole head up.

Isn't she just the cutest! Her hair is falling out too. The sides and her top or getting thin. I am pretty sure we will have a red head when it is all said and done. I think she will have auburn hair. Hunter right now is blonde form all the sun! It will probably be blonde/white this summer cause that boy has to go outside! Here are old pics of Hunter!


It was a busy weekend for us even though we stayed home. Lar is trying to get projects done around the house so we can sell it hopefully this summer. He was hoping to get rock to put under our porch but they couldn't deliver until tuesday so will see what happens this weekend. So instead of doing that Lar fixed his dead jeep and pressure washed the porch and all the mildew off the toy structures on the porch. We finally got a little tykes table for Hunter and Grace when she gets bigger. I didn't want to pay full price for one and check out garage sales but I just haven't had any time to or I am to lazy to go look so we bought one. What a difference that makes it is easier to keep track of him with a small table instead of him climbing over and on our regular table. I didn't take any pics of him on it yet. Forgot to. Today we got a hand me down bunk bed with ladder from a co-worker at my work for free! It will be Hunter's big boy bed so now he has two but this new one doesn't fit his room so we will store it in the shed. Lar went to re-organize the shed and he found some things for Grace that I had stored in their from our neighbour. We didn't know our neighbours to the left and they were there for maybe a year or less but I didn't see them much and I never talked to them I would smile but that was all. For some reason I am bad with strangers since I have had kids. When Grace was born a month or two after one of the neighbour ladies knocked on our door during nap time and she said she knew we had a girl and wanted to know if they could give us some of their granddaughter's stuff since they would be moving and didn't want to haul it all. I said sure so later that day two of the neighbor guys came over and had three big black bags of stuff and it was all free! There was clothes 6 months to 18 months in the bags they brought over the pink and purple exosaucer that Grace uses now and a pink bumbo chair with tray! There was also a bag of metal stuff that looked junky to me so I had Lar put that in the shed with the exosaucer and after I cleaned up the clothes those went in the shed also. I told the guys thanks and I could tell one of them was the little girls dad. I never really talked to the neighbors since cause I never saw them and they just moved out 2 weeks ago. I feel bad now that I didn't put a card on their door or flowers. Cause I totally forgot about the stuff in the shed! Here I have been stressing about clothes for little Miss that I have even been to the Goodwill outlet where I bought clothes for a pound! I even went to a cute resale shop in portland for some clothes this weekend. And all along I had them in the shed with the hand me downs from my girlfriend, Em! I feel even worse that I didn't thank the neighbours even more! The last black bag had the coolest thing and here I thought it was trashy stuff! It had a jumper! Hunter didn't have a jumper at our house so we have never had one! It is the nicest thing ever! It is called the rainforest and it is in the nicest shape! We put Grace in it tonight and she loves it! It takes up alot of the living room but that happens when you have kids. I took some pics of it. So I feel like a heel cause I didn't even know the neighbours names and they saved us hundreds of dollars!


Grace's feet don't touch the ground so we put a pillow under it. I got to be better with strangers and when someone does something nice I gotta be better at thanking them! I learned my lesson! Grace also has been blowing bubbles like crazy or I should say spitting! I got it on video so I will try to get it downloaded in a few days. Well I better jet tomorrow is going to be a busy day at work. It was a nice productive, lazy weekend. Thanks to all the soldiers who are still alive and also to the ones that have passed for making this all possible for me to enjoy my family!

Wow! It has been awhile since I have blogged! Last time was when I was on vacation with the kids. I find I have no time anymore with the kids, cleaning the house, and doing projects around the house. Oh well I will try to be better at it. So I have alot of pictures to show you all but it might take me forever to post them. The boys are out and about finding jeep parts for the dead jeep so I am not sure how much time I got to blog. I downloaded all the pics from the last few weeks and alot has gone on! So I might as well just jump to it.

Hunter playing with Grace and I got a picture of Grace mid smile. Hunter is getting a little better at playing with Grace. He calls her Baby Grace and he really likes whatever this thing is he likes to play with the balls. And yes he has gotten into the sit a few times! But was told no right away. Grace has gotten good at playing with it. She can make one of the toys spin and she can spin another one that makes it play music. Only one foot can touch the bottom of the toy at a time but she is getting very close to putting both feet on flat footed.

Hunter is in my Crate and Barrel box that came with my mother's day mixing bowls that I asked for that Lar got me! Hunter is playing with the box and the wrapping paper the bowls were wrapped in.

Hunter in the pool on our porch. He had a great time and we had to put warm water in the pool in order for him to even get in it. Lar took alot of video of him in the pool I might try to get one of them on here later.

I finally took a picture of Hunter getting his hair trimmed by Lar. This is actually the first time he isn't crying he is finally not scared of the whole process. He even gets the razor out of the cupboard. He looks like such a big boy after he gets his trim. Lar takes him outside and sits him on his chair.

My baby girl sleeping and awake. Notice she doesn't have socks on! Well this girl can't keep them on for the life of her! She is constantly kicking the big heels of hers that they fall off. I can't wait till she can wear her tights! I have gotten a few pair for her that I can't wait to try them on her!

Grace eating rice cereal for the first time. She wasn't impressed it could be that she wasn't sitting up straight and I didn't have it hot enough. She is very picky about her bottle's being warm/hot that she is starting that trend in the cereal dept! I have also lost the high chair straps at the moment since I was tired of cleaning them when Hunter was little and would drop so much spaghetti on them it was too much of a mess to clean those straps!This is Hunter's new way of making his fort. Instead of all the pillows being thrown on the floor he makes take all the pillows off the back of the fort and takes out the middle pillow which becomes his slide. Than he goes to our bed and gets are sleeping pillows and sits on mine and uses Lar's to lean on. He looks pretty comfy I think.

Teddy Bear Parade

On Saturday we went to the Teddy Bear Parade in Oregon City. Hunter loved it and learned VERY quickly how to pick up candy. I got a ton of candy but the poor guy didn't get to eat any of it cause he is still to little but here are all the pictures from it.

So she is getting tall with a big head! Like someone else I know Mr. Hunter!

My baby is 4 months old!

I can't believe Miss G is 4 months old! She is growing to fast! I just love having her in our family and she is a joy! She also slept from 9pm to 5:30am last night! Yeah girl! Keep it up sister! Hunter was coughing all night after midnight so I didn't get much sleep but I didn't have to get up with little miss until 5:30am! Yeah! Here is a couple of pics I took of her yesterday cause today is her check up and she gets shots so I didn't think she would be to happy and smiley so I did it a day early. I will post her stats later after her appt and see how much difference she is from when Hunter was 4 months.

I can't believe it worked! I have tried so many times to get our home videos on here and they don't go. Here is a cute video of Grace laughing. Sorry about the droll on my shirt and Larry was taking the video but he had to be the one that made her laugh so the video isn't the greatest but at the end you catch her laughing. Enjoy! I will try to post more videos now that it worked so watch out!

Enjoying my time with the kids

I am on day 5 of hanging out with the kids on my vacation while my in-laws are in Germany. At first it started off rocky with Hunter cause he was a bear and I had to put him in time out 2-3 times a day but the last two days I haven't at all. I think he and I are getting used to seeing each other all day every day with no breaks and we both have just come to an agreement that we will survive. I am not used to the stay at home mom thing. Don't get me wrong I would love to do it but I am the type that just has to get out and see people and help them. My house we are all sick and everyday it is different with us all. Some part of the day I feel normal than all of a sudden my nose is flowing or my ears are hurting or I am coughing. Grace is getting worse each day but she is a tropper. She is all nasally and coughs but no fever so I am hoping she gets better if not her 4 month check is this Friday so I am not to concerned yet but if she gets a fever than I am calling. She is like Hunter was/is they both feel warm all the time and feel like they have temps but they don't. Hunter has had snot in his nose as he would say for about 2 weeks with a nice hackey cough but today after his nap he woke up with a hoarse voice! It is so sad cause he is talking up a storm and repeating everything you say. Than he got a low grade temp this eve and I just hooked him up with Tylenol cause I wasn't going to wait when he gets a temp it just spikes right up to the 102's and I didn't want to deal with that so when I checked his I checked mine and I had the same so we both took our meds. Lar is sick with the same stuff but he has had sinus drainage for about a week and his throat is sore today. I tell you we are falling apart! Thank goodness I took the week of for this sickness. But bummer I can't just stay at home and sleep my cold away. I took some really cute pics of the kids today but I will post them tomorrow if I have a chance. I was sitting with Hunter at the dinner table this am and I was just watching him and thinking to my self he is so stinking cute! I was watching his eyes and his facial expression and thinking to myself that even if I think he is the most stubbornist thing ever he is mine and that is the coolest thing. He is so smart it kills me. He looked at me and just smiled and flashed his big blues at me and I thought to myself why do I make it hard on myself and him by being stressed about work, housework, and raising kids when I am messing it up and missing out on the good things and he gets the vibes from me and maybe that is why we both get grumpy at each other. So I am going to try to be better with him and understand my two year old! I took pics of him coloring with his marks (markers) today he colored for agood 45 minutes all by himself and he was singing with a kids cd that I was playing on the tv. (he doesn't like it when I sing so this is how I get him to learn his kids songs). The thing I thought was cute is that he sits so straight while he is coloring and he is totally concentrating on his work and studies the picture he doesn't stay in the lines but he keeps close to what he is coloring I took a pic to show you all. Today Grace did a few new things. She can grab toys now when you put them in front of her she reaches out and takes a hold of them (not all the time but most of the time) and puts them right in her mouth. Of course I took a pic of that to. She loves to look at Lar and will follow him wherever he goes. This evening while Hunter was taking his bath I was holding her and Lar came at her saying something, I can't remember what it was, and she started laughing! He kept doing it and she would laugh each time he did it. Of course it was making her blink than she would laugh. We got it on camera but not the beginning of it. She sounded so cute! She has a belly laugh. So I think that is all. Sorry it is so long I just needed to write it down so I wouldn't forget anything so when I read this years from now I can say I remember when! I have a few more days with my kiddos and than back to work but will see how our sickness goes and I hope everyone gets better soon!

It is 12:45pm and...

everyone is sleeping! Yeah! The kids have colds and my ears are hurting again! I took pictures of everyone Misha and the cats where they were sleeping right now. Guess what I am going to do!? Yep, join them even when it is nice and sunny outside!
Not sure why but I couldn't download all the pics so here are the kids. I have a tinkle cough so I had to get up from my nap. Going to take Sudafed and try to sleep again. After nap I tried again to download pics and it is so slow but here is Misha.



After this nap I woke up with a fever go figure. Grace is hacking more and Hunter didn't sleep his usual long nap oh well maybe he will go down early tonight. We can only hope. Hunter and I just made sugar cookies with sprinkles (put on by Hunter) for Lar's bday, which is thursday! We always celebrate a birthday week Lar just hasn't said when his started yet! Also, out of the blue Hunter knows how to sing happy birthday he says happy birday to you and that is it but he knows he has to sing it more than once. Crazy! He must have learned it at daycare. Also, the cats are still asleep, lazy animals!

Random stuff

Info about Mr. Hunter...

~he can talk your ear off! he can say full sentences and tells you what to do. he says..mama i go ma's house i go in car. he doesn't have all the right words but he is getting there.

~his new favorite seasame street character is cookie monster and he says his name so cute and anything that has to do with a cookie he calls it cookie monster. of course lar and i had to break down and get him a cookie monster stuffed animal. now he has 3 elmo's, one big bird, and a cookie monster. all we need next is oscar,count, and zoe.

~he knows some of his numbers and can point out stuff in a book and he is great with matching books. you just have to show him once and he remembers the next day.

~he notices things in two things now. If two lights are on he says "two lights"! same with his elmo's and doors.

~He loves stickers and playing on his fort in the couch.

~he still loves to go outside and his hair is turning blonde from all the sun he has gotten when the sun finally comes out.

~he doesn't like to wear socks still and he is a night owl he stays up until 9:30pm! i think it is because he can take over a 3 hour nap! but he has been fighting a cold for weeks so he is a grump when he doesn't get his nap during the day.

~he says the word no now. that is a fun stage~!

~he gives the animals treats every night and helps lar feed the fish.

~he loves to color and colors on the actual picture he does pretty good.

~he knows were the mall is and today we drove by the stop light where costco is and he said mamma go costco! i had to tell him no we go to target. then he saw the mall and said mamma go mall. i tell you i don't shop alot i was just taking him to the mall cause of the kids structure inside.

~he takes shower/baths now. lar found a kids fish shower head that suctions to the shower stall and hunter stands in his shower and when the bath is full we turn it off and he takes his bath. he even knows how to clean himself thanks to lar he taught him that.

~he is wearing 2T-3T clothes!

Info about Miss Grace...

~she is growing up to fast!

~she will stare at you until you look at her and when she sees your eyes she smiles really big and squeals!

~she smiles when you say hi to her.

~she can't keep socks on at all. she loves to kick and move her big ole feet.

~she loves to coo and squeal.

~she loves to put her fingers in her mouth but hasn't found one she really likes yet.

~she hates hats still and hates going in her carseat but once she is buckled and has a pacifer in she is good. she can fall alseep so fast when the car is moving and does not like to stop at stoplights!

~she loves her little pink blanket with small feathers on it my mother had to get another one that is blue for a back up.

~she can power nap like no other! 1/2 hour here and 45 min there or 2 hours here. but she loves to sleep takes 2 naps in the am and 2 in the afternoon and wakes up once or twice depends on her bowels at night and is up at 6:15am doesn't matter what time she woke up earlier in the am.

~her head is huge now just like hunter's was. she has big blue eyes just like hunter you can tell they are siblings for sure!

~she can lift her big ole head

~she is starting to roll to her left but just can't get her right leg to move with her.

~She is wearing 3-6 month clothes but for pajamas she is in 6 months.

~when you hold her she doesn"t look at you but around you. but she is getting better at looking at you she will do it for a few seconds but there is more important things to see!

A lot to catch up on!

Wow I can't believe how long it has been since I blogged last! I can't blog much right now cause I gotta jet to bed with everyone else since it is only me and the animals up! But I thought I would download this sweet pic of Grace she was laying on her strawberry shortcake blanket and I was just taking pics of her and I thought this one was cute. I can blog so much this week cause I have the whole week of since my in-laws went to Germany I am staying home one of the weeks they are gone. So I can catch you all up on what has gone on here!
