We got puke!

No pictures necessary for this blog if you don't like the words puke and diarrhea don't read this blog! Sunday night Lar and I went to bed early at 9:30pm cause we had a long weekend. Hunter started crying about 10:30pm I didn't get up and he stopped and he cried again at 11:30pm once again I didn't get up cause he cried for a few seconds. 12:30am he is crying again this time he wasn't happy I got up and his face is covered in puke and he is rubbing his eyes and he has puke stuck in his lashes. The room spelled awful and he had puked twice in his bed and down the crib and on the floor. I feel really bad cause I am not sure when his first puke was since I never got up. I learned right away Lar does not do puke! He had to look for his respirator to clean up the room! Lar gave him a shower and I got him in his pajamas. Not more than five minutes later he puked on me, his clean pajamas and his bedroom floor! To make a long story short he puked a total of 8 times by 2 pm. We put him in his pack-n-play in our room and finally feel asleep by one and would wake up a couple of times sit up and gag and puke and go right back to sleep. We woke up to no puke but I had diarrhea so I got to stay home with him! Lar went to work and later in the am Hunter had two explosive diarrhea diapers! All I am gonna say is puddle on the floor! I gave him a bath and I was on round 6 of diarrhea and was almost toast by the time Lar came home at one on round 14 of diarrhea. Hunter went down for a nap and Lar bought me some Immodium and I went and slept while Hunter did and Lar chilled with Misha. I woke up to chicken noodle soup smells! It was awesome! Lar totally took care of Hunter and I got us BRAT food and Gatorade's and even made homemade bread for the chicken noodle soup! Hunter slept so much yesterday he took three naps and they were between 2 1/2- 3 hours long which helped me get some sleep. So today is tuesday and Hunter woke up at 5:30 am I gave him a bottle of milk and he wanted more so I gave him more and he fell back to sleep! He slept until 7:30 and I picked him up out of the crib and he puked on me and five minutes later had explosive diarrhea! Here we go again! But I think he is getting better we just have to stay away from milk and stay on the down low. As for me I haven't had any diarrhea since Larry came to my rescue with the Immodium but my innards aren't happy they just don't know what to do right now. We will see what today brings. Hunter was waving bye-bye when he woke up at 7:30am so we might venture to the library to pick up a baby einstein video cause he needs some fresh air minus the puke or diarrhea, I hope! I hope that everyone else is well and puke free in their abode!

Going Organic!

Just a journal blog today so far I haven't taken any pics of Hunter today but I plan to after this nap. Most of you know that I don't cook or like to go food shopping. It is just not my thing. Not sure why I think I would rather work and help people than go get food and fix a meal. I am very paranoid when I do cook that it tastes bad or I burnt the meal. But through the years being married I have gotten a little better but not much. Thank goodness Larry loves to cook and cooks well! Thanks Dude! My mother got me a book for Easter that is called "Mommy Rescue Guide-Toddler Meals" and it has inspired me to be a better food shopper and maybe even try to attempt to cook! In the book it said that organic food is much better for kids and I heard this many times but when you finally have a little someone who you need to take care of a little bell in your head says I gotta do what is good! I think Jo told me when she had Mckenna that she started eating even healthier when Mckenna was a toddler so I am thinking that I am trying to go that route also. Don't get to excited for me cause I found a way not to go to the store! I know lazy me but at least I am trying. We went to the Expo center last weekend for an environmental show and Larry told me that Ryan and Katie have a company that brings fruit and veggies to their door! So I found a booth that does just this and signed up! Can you believe that I am really excited about this and it has to do with fruits and veggies and I am not the biggest fan of either of these but now I am excited! The company is called Pioneer Organics and they will drop off a crate of fruit and veggies every other week on friday's! We tell them what we don't like and they will not send it and if we want all fruits or all veggies that is what they will send! Pretty cool! I know you are all saying this isn't new but for me it is! My boys and I are going organic! I hope this works out and we get nice healthy meals in our bellies and maybe I will like to eat fruits and veggies and cooking! Packing lightly?

Larry bought a backpack that he can carry Hunter in from REI this weekend. He hiked Hunter all over the Expo Center for an environmental show on Saturday and this is the boys getting ready to take Misha for a walk on Sunday! I don't think I will ever use this backpack since Hunter weighs almost 25 lbs and I have already been to my doctor about three times for sore back and ribs from carrying him when he wasn't this big! So this is a special time for the boys to bond I will stick with walking next to them with Misha.

Stride rite!

Thank you everyone that has gotten Hunter shoes in the past and the present he has outgrown all of them except his Robeez! We went on an impromtu shoe shopping trip today to get him his first "fitted" tennis shoes! We went to stride rite, which I had never been in. He did pretty good in the store and we tried on three pairs and ended up with a cute brown pair! He wears size 5 1/2 extra wide shoes! No wonder he flew through shoes he has big wide feet! He has his dad's feet and my toes! Poor dude!

Larry showed me how to use photobucket from the internet! I can now send lots of pictures instead of putting them on this blog one at time or in a group setting! Yeah! These are some pics from earlier in the week and this morning. I was trying to figure out this photobucket stuff and Hunter was playing with his drawer and next thing I know he climbed in it! He is also wearing his german knickers and dancing to his favorite song in the other pictures. He is such a boy it scares me sometimes! Hope everyone is well!

Hunter's Favorite Song

Hi everyone! So this is Hunter's favorite song! We know this because he dances to it everyday at daycare with his grandpa's keyboard. It is pretty cute he hears the music and starts clapping and walking around the living room and in circles with a big smile on his face! So enjoy hearing we got the beat!

Easter!

Easter started out with Hunter's smoke alarm going off in his room at five am! He had a bottle and went back to bed, thank goodness! He woke back up at 8:30 am. We were supposed to go to church but that was cancelled which worked out perfect cause we would have had to be there by 9 am in Canby. Not gonna happen! Hunter was nice and clingy and Larry brought out the dollar store eggs I bought and hid them around the living room. Lucy was all about the eggs especially the ones on the floor. Since Lucy was so into them Misha had to join her and get up in her face cause she wanted the eggs instead. Hunter would get an egg opened than walk around with it open all around the living room. He wasn't much into the eggs we had to keep pointing them out and he would hold them and open them and walk around with another egg just different color. We were gonna have brunch at my mother's house around ten, which with clingy boy that was his am nap time. So Larry loaded up the car around 9:30 am to see if he would go to sleep that way since he was so tired and clingy. The boys went for a drive and came to pick me up around ten and Hunter was still awake but fighting it! I joined them to drive to my mother's and Hunter feel asleep fifteen minutes later just 5 minutes away from Canby! We left Hunter in the car and Larry slept in the car with him and 45 minutes later they joined me with Mother and Wayne. We had a good time at their house had brunch and opened more eggs but this time had socks in them not empty ones like we had! Next Easter destination was the Robinson's and had a good time there taking naps and eating turkey! By this time Hunter was starting to get clingy/cranky and he had a temp over 101 so Easter was over for little Hunter boy cause he was toast. So that was what happened on Hunter's 2nd Easter! Busy, fun day! Thanks everyone who feed us and got presents for Hunter! He loves them all! Thanks also for the candy! Here are some pics of the day. Hope everyone else had a fabulous Easter!

I love his face in this picture even though you can't see it well! His mouth is wide open! He climbed into the coffee table all by himself. I guess he does this all the time.

I didn't take any pictures at the Robinson's just forgot to but there is a cute video that was taken, not on my camera, of him laughing at Lindsey. Maybe I can get it and post it! Very cute! The person just has to give it to me and she might not release it ;-)

My Boys!

I haven't taken any pictures since Wednesday and Hunter is sleeping for the night and Larry is at school helping a friend so it is just me and the animals! I thought I would do some blogging but I have no pictures to post! So this is just a journal entry. Different I know! I just wanted you all to know that I am so thankful to God that he has given me the pleasure of having "my boys" Larry and Hunter! They have made my life so exciting and exhausting, in a good way! I never would have thought having a son would be fun cause I always thought I would have girls when I thought of kids but I wouldn't change it for the world! Hunter is such a kick in the pants he makes me laugh and keeps me going all day long! It doesn't help that he looks just like Larry and when I look at Hunter it reminds me of how much I love Larry and that Hunter is just a part of him! I know that I don't talk alot about God like I used to but I am thankful everyday that He gave me Larry and Hunter in my life and that I am truly blessed everyday! Maybe cause it is so close to Easter that I just thought I would blog about this but just remember to give an extra hug to the ones you love and our blessed to have in your life! I found a picture that I hadn't sent! Here is Misha last weekend watching us play with Hunter. Doesn't she look like the saddest dog in the world! She has her head on the arm of the couch and her ears are down. She didn't get to go to Canby like she wanted to and we didn't take her for a walk. Hence, depression dog! I guess this picture reminds me to make sure you hug and take your dogs for walks to show them you love them!

Cutting teeth?

I came home tuesday night to a sad, tired buddy. He didn't eat dinner and didn't have a bath! And these are two of his favorite things to do! He was feverish with a low grade temp so we gave him some Tylenol and made him watch his Baby Einstein movie until almost eight and since he was struggling to stay awake we put him to bed. He woke up at 2 am not happy so I gave him more Tylenol and some milk and he went back to sleep until the morning and was good until almost noon started getting warm again so more Tylenol and he napped for 45 minutes! He mostly sleeps almost 2 1/2-3 hours and he cut it way short. Needless to say he has been drooling all day and his shirt has been wet under his chin so I think we got some more teeth coming in! Great! So here he is vegging with me in the house all day and sitting in his chair watching his movie with his pacifier which he chewed all day on both sides of his mouth!

This was taken after his 45 minute afternoon nap. I put him in his papa's chair with his crib blanket. He sat there without trying to plunge out for about 20 minutes. He kept trying to get it to rock by moving forward. It didn't work out well for him.

He had his one year check last thursday here are his stat's!

Basically, he is a big boy! He is way above the 100% for his head! Thank goodness it wasn't that big when he was born!

The blogger works so I will try to post some bday pics! These were taken last weekend. We used some birthday money he got and bought some cool new toys and played with some that we got from family and friends!

Hunter's Birthday Party!

The big day happened! Hunter turned 1 years old! Yeah! We had a family party and Nana, Grandpa Wayne, Grandma and Grandpa Robinson, Grandpa Gary, Great Grandma Ardis, Aunt Lindsey and Uncle Corey, Uncle Anthony, Aunt JoAnne, and Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Bob all came to celebrate with him! He had a good time! He didn't get his nap in the am so by the time he woke up from his afternoon nap the party had started and when we got to the cake part he was tired an rubbing his eyes with cake frosting. Poor dude. Here is a video clip of him taken by Nana when people were coming over. I am not the greatest in it I was trying not to get my picture taken cause it was all about him!

Facing Forward!

Sorry everyone I have been working all week! I took Friday off instead of Wednesday so Hunter could get his shots Thursday pm and be good to go back to daycare and be safe around Lonnie on Monday. So that is why I haven't blogging or sending pics. Larry has been sick still. Last week flu this week he has a sinus infection and the antibiotics aren't working so he is on a steriod now and has to get his sinuses scanned to find out if he has a bad sinus infection or not! Oh to have healthy boys again! Anywho! For some reason I have been so excited to face Hunter's carseat forward! Call me crazy but Hunter made two out of the three requirements at nine months old he was good on the weight and height he just need to be a year old! So we turned it forward one day before his actual birthday cause it was the weekend and I was too excited and couldn't wait a day! Hunter had the biggest grin when he saw us in the front seat of the Kia! He seems much more happier in the car now that he can be a part of the action! Here are some pics of him facing forward!

Finishing projects, finally!

This last weekend I finally got two of my projects done that I have been wanting to do forever and they are finally finished! Thanks to Larry's help even when he was down with the flu we tackled them and got them done. Just in time for Hunter's birthday party!

Project One~The ugly cat/dog door that came with the house that is in Hunter's room. A few weekends ago Larry put some wood around the sharp edges and made it safe for Hunter to hold onto. We went looking at new cat doors but they were too expensive so Larry fixed it and made it himself. This weekend we both painted it and it looks alot better! So here is the finished project! I know ugly cat/dog door but it looks so much better!

Project Two~Putting up something to hide Hunter's closet! I finally bought some fabric and sewed a curtain to cover his closet. When we bought the house it didn't have a door or anything on his closet. I think it looks alot better. I found some fabric that was the color of his room that had monkey's on it! Check it out! Pretty cute, huh?!

I am not the greatest at sewing but this is the finished product and it looks so much better now that his room is complete with new closet and fixed cat/dog door! Wonder what I can get accomplished this weekend?
