John Deere Boy

Grandpa and Grandma Robinson have let Hunter play with their old John Deer tractor! It has been sitting up high on a ledge as you walk into their house and since he was born it has come down! Hunter loves it as you can see. He can't reach the pedals yet with his feet but that doesn't stop his legs from moving.!
The tractor has been hiding upstairs and after daycare when Larry has been picking him up I have heard that Larry lets Hunter climb up the stairs and Hunter has been playing with this tractor! I finally got to see him with the tractor this weekend! He seemed to know it was for him to sit on! He was cheking out the wheels. I wonder if we have a farmer in our future?

Brushing teeth sort of...

Hunter got a toothbrush set from his Auntie Lindsey when he first was teething and we are finally using the toothbrush! Just because I forgot about it and also Hunter has eight teeth! Two teeth just appeared on the top with his other front top two! Not sure when they made their appearance but we have four on the top and four on the bottom! At first, Hunter didn't like the toothpaste just cause he wasn't used to the taste now he loves having the toothbrush in his mouth! I got him bubble gum flavor since it sounded like a flavor I would like. He gets to brush his teeth after his evening bath while I am putting on his pajamas. So of course I had to have Larry take some pics and he was talking the whole time he was brushing his teeth! I love the last picture it looks like he is a totally different kid kinda on the crazy side.

Hunter's Popper!

He got a popper for Christmas I think his Uncle Dan got it for him if I am wrong than it was his grandma and grandpa! He just figured it out and he knows he has to grab the handle and put it in front of him and push it back and forth to get it to pop! So that is what he is trying to do but the wall got in the way! We actually didn't get a good video of it cause we didn't have the camera facing the right way we went horizontal instead of vertical so these pictures are the aftermath. Sorry! He gets mad at the poppers dome cause he tries to get it in his mouth and eat the balls that are in it and he can't so it makes him get upset cause he isn't getting what he wants! Go figure! Pretty cute but I feel bad for him but it makes me laugh. Our camera only takes ten seconds or so of video so that is why these are so short. The last video he realized that Larry had the camera and was going for it. Enjoy!

A weekend of sickness

We had a nice and relaxful weekend up until Saturday night. It was so beautiful outside that we took Misha and Hunter for a walk around Clackamas park on Saturday. Misha loved it she got to see other dogs and by the end of the day she was exhausted! I managed to lose Hunter's pacifer on this trip, which I thought was no big deal until Sunday rolled along! When Hunter went to bed Saturday night he sounded all croupy. Poor guy he would breathe and you could hear his little lungs working hard and when he talked he had a deep sounding voice. Needless to say I slept on his floor both nights with the humidifer and he got showers with his papa to clear out his lungs. Than Larry wasn't feeling well on Sunday so both boys were sick! I stayed home with him on Monday cause I woke up with upset innards by tuesday we were all home free and Hunter went to Grandma daycare! These are pics we took of him during the weekend ordeal he doesn't look sick he just sounded sick when he would cry, talk, and breathe throughout the day. He still manages to look cute! Thank God for humidifiers and Vicks! Thank you to either Alyshia or Angie who gave Hunter the humidifier! By the way, since I lost his pacifier we had to make seperate trips to get a new one cause he would not go down for his much needed naps. We were so close to getting rid of it!

Hunter's drawer!

Larry came up with this idea! We have safety latches on the drawers but I wasn't using them right and kept opening them wrong so they are easy for him to get into. So he came up with Hunter having his own drawer. Hunter likes it but he still likes the other cabinets that he can get into especially the cabinet with the garbage!

He loves to explore everything that he can! At one point he was standing by himself for a couple of seconds admiring his measuring spoon! Maybe he will be a cook like his dad?

What is wrong with this picture?

Larry was carrying Misha to bed the other night which he never does. When you tell her bedtime she runs to her kennel in our bedroom for her treat and goes to bed. Once again Larry did something that shocked me. He called me to our room and this is what I saw! What is wrong with this picture!?

I bet Misha was wondering the same thing. This is a cat post that Larry made me when we were dating and we only had Lucy, the cat, at that time. She was a sport about it and didn't try to get down she just stared at us. Wonder what she was thinking?

I love Wednesday's!

It has been almost a year since Hunter came into our world and put a smile on our faces! I have been planning in my head what to do for the little guy for a birthday party but I have officially stopped stressing about it and I am gonna do a low key one with family. Hunter will not remember this bday so it is mostly for Larry, I and the rest of his family so we are gonna do cake and icecream with balloons all in our small little abode! Sounds like fun, huh?! Nothing much has been happening in the world of the Robinson's except that the jeep has died and our plumbing needs fixed but we are taking one challenge at a time! Maybe that is why I have been fixated on Hunter's bday shindig cause the other stressors in my life are gonna be a challenge to fix but we will power through them! Hope all is well with everyone and attached are some pictures I was taking today of Hunter for his bday card, but of course he just would not smile at the right time I pushed the button! Oh well they are cute anyways! He was playing with his football and eating it that is why he has slim on his chin! The last picture he tossed the football over his head and I took the picture right when he was taking a big breath from the effort of putting the football over his head. He is a cheese nugget!

Mama look snow!

Monday morning we woke up to snow! It was so nice to see white on the porch and grass. It melted away by noon but Hunter liked looking at it through the slider door. He would watch Misha walking in the snow on the porch. I didn't take him outside and I have no idea why I didn't. Maybe it was to cold or cause I was home alone with Misha and Hunter and Misha is like a second child and I have to drag her in and out the door and keep my arms around little dude! I am ready for more snow!

Doesn't he look so cute! He was pounding on the glass and his little hands were ice cold but he was having a great time. He stayed by the door for a long time!

He was doing some talking here not sure what he was saying but he was jabbering away!

He finally noticed I was taking pictures and tried to give me a smile, but I wasn't quick enough and missed his cheesy grin!

Go Buddy Go!

He is off and running! His Auntie Lindsey and Uncle Corey got him this toy for Christmas and it is his means of transportation at the moment. Thanks guys for getting him this it keeps Larry and I on our toes! I wonder when he is gonna just walk on his own? He has done a few steps here and there and has stood on his own without him realizing it. I am definetly not prepared for the walking stage! But it is fast approaching! Don't you think?

Washing Hunter!

I found Hunter in the oddest place this weekend! In the washing machine! My boys get into everything! I am not a big fan of washing clothes but I think he isn't a fan of it either. It is amazing what happens when you let boys hang out together to play!

Shopping at Walmart!

Yesterday the computer screen started bugging and I thought it was from me doing this blog and that the computer had a virus, but no the monitor was dying. Lar got home and noticed it was smelling and that it was toast. After dinner we drug Hunter out the door for the much needed computer monitor cause I had to have a computer with my new addiction to blogging! We went to Best Buy and found the perfect Dell screen but of course none in stock. Lar said how about Walmart as we were driving to Best Buy and I was skeptical cause I am not a big fan of the place. So we drug Hunter back and forth from the car in the very cold and windy night and headed to Walmart. I must say that I am a Walmart fan! We found the same Dell monitor for $1 cheaper and we went and checked out the toys! They got an awesome toy selection! Bigger and better than FM or Target! They have all the oldies but goodies that we grew up with. We could have bought out the store if we were rich! They also have a great babies section. By the time we left with our Dell monitor and a new bath toy for Hunter and Larry and another new toy for the car, Hunter was out cold! Shopping wiped him out. He would not even get up when we brought him in the house. These pics are proof! Enjoy

He woke up when I was giving him his bottle so of course he had to have a bath with his new bath toys! The new bath toy is in back of him. Little dude stayed up till 9:30 pm!

Jump to January 2008!

So I am just figuring out this blog thing and I was gonna do a ton of pictures of Hunter every month from March until now but since I am new at this I stopped trying! So I am starting fresh and you all will get to see how Hunter has been growing from this January on!

Hunter is 10 months old! He is in size 18 month clothes and weighs over 22 lbs and at his last doctor's visit he was over 30 inches long. He is gonna be tall. Right now he loves sitting in his papa's chair and watching his Grandma's Baby Einstein's Baby Macdonald movie! He is eating alot of big people food and loves pasta! Hunter also learned he can stand and open the kitchen cabinets. Fun!
