On the Market!

Saturday we put our house one the market! It seems strange knowing that people might actually buy our house. I know I am way ahead of myself but still I have never sold something this big! This was our first house and we have done so much to it and it looks TONS better than it did when we bought it! If I have time this week I will try to show you all the before and after pics our family totally know what has gone into this house because they helped numerous days putting it together for us before Hunter was born. We painted every wall and put in new carpet and new hardwood floors and new hardware and lighting. I hope we can sell it and make someone happy to live in it like we have. We just gotta move cause Grace needs her own room and Misha needs a backyard to hang out in. We are selling our house on our own just for financial reasons it is spendy to have a realtor so we are going to try to do it on our own for 6 months and than go from there. We have no clue what we are doing but the doctor I work for her and her husband came over and helped us with what websites to use and what to do with our house and took pictures for us of it to help us out. I seriously think that God wants us to move forward with selling it because things just have been falling into place. We got sod for our backyard that was an unfinished project! Thanks Corey and Lindsey for that! It was Corey's bday present and he had to much and would you believe that it was just enough for us and a little left over! I have had so much help and advise from the people I work with about selling this house. I have a potential house offer in Canby on a house that is way to expensive for us but just maybe it will work! Not giving up on that but at least I have something to maybe try if we do sell this house. So here I am in a nice decluttered house just waiting to see if someone will buy it! We should have an RLMS number soon in about a week and than will see if we get calls until than I will just be a crazy cleaner and make sure my kids, cats, and dog are out when someone comes to look. The hard part of this is Lar is in Canada for work, Hunter hates the vaccum cleaner, Grace is all over the place so I have to clean around them and mop when they go to bed and vaccum when I put them in the car in the am, and coordinate where the animals go if someone calls. But you know it will be worth it ALL when this house is officially sold and hopefully it will be this year and before Grace turns 1! I will keep you all posted about it though!

Little guy needs are prayers!

So I have been "stalking" this one ladies blog for about a year and I say stalking cause I don't know her or where she lives I got her blog from reading someone elses blog and than another blog. Anywho! I love to read this ladies blog and she gets over +1000 readers a day and blogs about the coolest things that she does with her family and inspires me to cook, clean, and shop for my family. I get cool ideas from just reading her blog cause she is a mother of 4! Anywho again, her littlest guy, Stellan who turns 1 today or tomorrow not sure which, was born with SVT, which is a heart condition not sure all the info on it but basically his pulse gets in the 200's not good at all should be in the 60's! He is in a bad place right now with his heart and is fighting for his little life. So I am spreading the word that this little guy needs are thoughts and prayers! Alot going on!

Wow, it has been forever since I posted anything on my blog! One reason is I am confused with our new computer system since we got a new hard drive I am still trying/learning to work with the picture part of it and it exhausts me to remember how to make it work that I have slowed down in my picture taking department. The other reason I haven't taken many pics is cause Grace has been crawling all over the house! She is a super crawler and goes where she wants to go and follows you wherever you go if that is her mission. Hunter has been a computer nerd lately too. He loves this new computer learning game my mom got him since he has almost mastered Starfall, another computer game. We have to put him on a timer so he doesn't play to long on the computer. Hence, I can't get on the main computer cause he is on it. Also, Larry had been in Canada for his job for 2 weeks and is back and is going back to Canada again for I don't know how long. And this Saturday our house goes on the market! Anyone want to buy house? Let me know mine is really nice at least I think it is! So this week we are on a total decluttering mission to make the house nicer to sell. So most of my time is going to be spend chillin with the kids and cleaning out closets at the same time! I am pretty sure my little helpers will be right there by me "trying" to help when I open our closets and pantry doors. I hope I don't drop anything on their big ole heads. I also am getting over a sinus infection. I had a snotty nose for a week before Lar left and than it wasn't going away so after 2 weeks of snot and not sleeping well cause of my two eager beaver non-sleepers I wasn't getting any better and it turned into a sinus infection. Lovely. I am medicated now and hope to be fully ready by the time Lar leaves again. My lovely little ones have kept me hopping around the house it seems that it is a little harder to have two kids under your feet when you are trying to do housework instead of just one eager beaver. My Grace is all over and thinks if it looks cool to her she just has to get in it. She has already ate dog food, pushes herself up on her knees to look into the bathtub (she LOVES the bath and starts getting all excited when she here's the water running, can wake up from almost being asleep and being fully ready to start the rest of the day just by hearing Hunter laugh or talk. She loves that boy! She will giggle and get all excited if Hunter walks in the room. She will get into all of his toys and buries herself in all of Hunter's bins to play with his toys. Hunter is talking up a storm! He even tells me what to do and I love it when he says out of the blue "momma I love you!" precious let me tell you! Well I better jet I am typing this at work during my lunch break. Not sure when my next post will be cause the rest of the week is a busy one but I hope to put some pics up soon! I got alot of them! It looks like Hunter grew 2 inches and 2 lbs more at his 9 month check so Grace is just following suit. Maybe that means that she will be 2 inches smaller than Hunter but they still are going to be tall!

Kids are both asleep so I am taking a rare moment to download pictures finally! We got new computers and the software confuses me so I think I have it somewhat figured out. So enjoy!

This is one of our home grown watermelon's! It was very yummy but wierd cause we have been eating seedless watermelon's from the store forever.Hunter LOVES are iphones! He plays Jirbo Match and DoodleBuddy. My phone is great when I am putting Grace down for her am nap cause than Hunter is nice and quiet like he is here. These two are buddies! Grace can pull all she wants on Misha and Misha will let her.
Porch time! We had some nice evenings a few weeks back before it started getting cold. The kids love to play on the porch especially Grace. I got to bring out my new computer, which is a Inspiron mini from Dell and do Facebook or respond to emails. It was a nice relaxful evening.


Park time! We went down the hill to a park and played with Misha and the kids. It was a pretty fun time until a drunk person came and was talking to us so we had to end our fun time.

Grace started to get to big for her crib that we had for her that fit perfectly in our room and was moved into Hunter's old crib. I loved that little crib! This is her in her old crib.

Than in her new big crib! I didn't realize how big Hunter's old crib was until we put it in our room and put Grace in it. She looks so tiny! Especially when she is sleeping in it.

2 teeth!

Grace has another bottom tooth it has finally broke through! That might explain why she woke up at 11:30pm last night screaming uncontrollably but I still think she was having bowel issues cause her and Hunter have been very constipated today and yesterday. I found her tooth when I gave her a Nilla, which she loves, and she proceeded to start screaming. Gotta love it when kids get teeth! Not only did she turn 9 months today but a tooth sprouted also! Gotta write it on her calendar!

No more Sassy!

It is official! Hunter has been pacifier "sassy" free for 6 days! He doesn't even ask for it anymore and can go to sleep at night and at nap time with no problems. I decided to stop giving it to him when I didn't get his sassy from my MIL and my mother who both had him on Friday and I came home without it not knowing I didn't have it cause I forgot to ask for it. Anywho, I thought might as well try to get rid of it now since he is almost a 3 year old. So when it came time for bed I gave him the "broken sassy", which was my first attempt to get rid of the sassy before Grace was born and I cut one of his sassy's apart and he still used it then. I brought this one out and told him the momma broke his sassy since I seem to be the one that does all the bad/mean things to him like take his bottles away and so forth. He was a little disturbed by it tried to use it than took it out and asked Lar to fix it and we told him that it couldn't be fixed. It went to bed with him but I don't think he used it. The next day for nap he wanted it fixed again and I told him if he didn't want it to give it to rocket, his little stuffed little einstein rocket and I think he did cause it was laying by it. By the next day I told him we could put it in the trash since it was broken and so now he ask for it to go in the trash. Now I secretly have it but he thinks it is in the trash but it will go in the trash probably this weekend just in case we have a major meltdown! So very proud of my big boy! We are sassy free for him! Yeah!

9 months old!

My baby is 9 months old today! She is growing leaps and bounds! She is wearing 9-12 month clothes and has mastered the sit to crawl to scooting backwards, not forwards yet. She still has been trying to grow her second tooth but it hasn't broke through yet but you can tell ones coming! She is a healthy little eater and eats all the time. If she is cranky just put some table food to pick up in front of her and she is a happy clam. She has a temper like no other and will toss her pacifer if she doesn't want it. She grows longer, I swear, everyday! I can't believe my baby girl is 9 months old. Congrats to almost being one Miss G!

My growing kids

My Miss Grace is changing everday! I think today her head is even bigger than it was yesterday! And her hair is blonder now. Her new thing is she loves to be on the floor and on her back for just a sec and she is flipped on her belly in a heartbeat! She can not go forward but can go backwards and side to side. She gets herself stuck in the wierdest places and she jammed herself under our futon yesterday. When she sits and plays with toys she can turn herself in a circle with her feet and goes back in forth turning and turning. She is a hoot! She loves Hunter and whatever he has she just has to have! Her fav is rocket! Which is his favorite toy. She likes to chew on the cloth top which is the antenna. This makes him so mad he says "Mama Grace got rocket all wet!" Yesterday, we gave her Cherrios! She loves them she just gets one at a time cause I don't trust her yet with more. It is so crazy to see both kids eating the same thing at during dinner. My baby girl is getting bigger before my eyes! She gets very distressed if any of us go outside with out her. She will not take her eyes of me if I have my hat on cause that means we are going somewhere and she doesn't want to be left. She loves showers and likes to hold out her hand to touch the stream of water. She says Mama Mama when she is tired and is very hungry. I don't think she knows it is me she is asking for but I am her food source so maybe she gets it. She started lifting herself out of the crib the other day so we are going to have to put it down a notch! I think she is working on her second tooth cause she has been extra cranky not sure if my super calm girl is going to stay with us or if she is turning into a not so calm one. Oh well will see. She is still pretty happy as a clam hanging with her family if she knows you aren't going to leave her.

My ever growing never slowing down Mr. Hunter. I could talk non-stop about him! He amazes me how smart he is and how much he is talking up a storm. It is weird when he says up to 6 word sentences. His new thing is "what is that mama?" to everything he doesn't know yet. He remembers everything and takes everything to heart! The other day we had spagetthi with the family and there was way to much noodles and Larry told him he needed to eat it all. He got this very sad look on his face and kept eating. By this time I am telling Larry not to kid with him and a few minutes later I don't know what he said but he was trying to eat more cause he needed to eat it all! I told him that he didn't but you never know what he is thinking and he trusts us 100% so we are learning. One thing we are trying to to better with him is that when he is doing something and we are trying to talk to him he tunes us out and will not look at us but we know he hears us so we are working on him talking and listening to us and looking at us while we do this. He does look at us but it is when he wants something or is talking to us not the other way around. Stubborness I tell you. He hates showers again cause he accidently turned on the hot and it got Larry and he scared Hunter and now we are back to getting him to take them. So far we have him going in by himself and cleaning up with us on the outside but we have to bribe him with popcorn or something he wants. He hasn't taken a bath since that one time with Grace and so we don't even fight him or ask him anymore. Having him take his own showers will help me out if Larry goes to Canada cause than I don't have to take them with him and that will just make Grace mad cause she will want in. And that will be to much slippery kids and cold children in towels not to mention me! Hunter is crazy with the computer he knows how to use the mouse and to click on stuff on the computer. We haven't figured out what computer type thing to get him for christmas yet but I am thinking he will get a Leap Frog one and that is for 4-6 but he figures out stuff! He plays on our iphones their is a match game and a doddle game that he knows how to play by touching certain keys. It is crazy! I just bought him some pajamas at Costco in 4T. He is such a skinny tall thing. He loves to give loves when he wants to and says Mama I love you! Love that! I will try to post pics later I took more of Grace this weekend not sure why but she was with me more cause the boys went to the zoo to see the lions!

Need more time in my days!

I meant to blog today and I didn't until 10pm! My kids are keeping me hopping. Just when I got Grace to go down without being sweetly cuddled I would just put her down when she was tired and she would fuse and talk for about 10 minutes and than crash has all changed now! She is Miss Independent I can roll when I want to on my belly now! Anytime you lay her down she is fast and on her belly in 1 second and her big ole head comes up and she is looking around for you! I tell you! zI don't remember Hunter doing this at all. He would always go to bed so nicely. I have said Grace Kathryn so much in the last couple of days it is going out of style! I love her dearly but when I know she is exhausted and I am to I don't want to fight with a roller! It takes me about 15 minutes of tossing and turning her when she finally stays on her back and talks and falls asleep. Stubborn girl! I have said since day 10 that she is going to be more stubborn than her brother and she is starting to show it alot these days! We moved her from her tiny crib that Uncle Dan gave her to her brother's GIANT crib! I don't remember it being so giant when it was in his room but it being in ours it looks huge! I have pictures of it but Larry and I got new computers and I still haven't figured out how to download pictures to my blog yet. Baby steps but I will ask him about it either tomorrow or this weekend. Grace also loves to be on the floor and can move backwards on her belly. She hasn't figured out how to go fowards but can go backwards and sideways. She loves to belly laugh at Hunter and Misha it is pretty cute. I think she is on her second tooth and we will probably see it very soon. Both kids got their flu shots yesterday. This was Hunter's first one I didn't even think to get him one the last two years. We have had the flu shots for 2 weeks now and I was on the fence about doing it or not. One of my good friends doesn't give hers and I usually trust her judgement 95% about her kids and so I was on the verge of not doing it. When I found out that our clinic that I work at would probably not get the swine flu shot I decided to just do it and not have to deal with my kids being sick a whole week compared to just a few days of having a common bug. They both did great! Hunter barely made a sound and didn't move at all. He was more about why the toys were not where he is used to them at. The clinic decided to take the toys out of the front room to keep people safe from germs. Grace made a sad cry and than was all better. My kids are troopers I just feel bad they have to come in for one more shot in a month.

Hunter is talking non-stop. For some reason I think he is getting harder to understand and I think it is because he is saying more words and they are not coming out right so we gotta work on that. Last week he said his first swear word he said God @#$% it. Mind you I don't swear at all cause of growing up in private school and it just stuck with me but family around him does so we are all now aware that we have to watch our words especially when he is listening and learning from us. He loves watching Little Einstein and is learning his music from this show and learning music language something I know nothing about but am learning through the show.

So that is it. I am sorry I can't figure out downloading pictures yet but once I learn how to do it I will send you some of Grace in Hunter's crib, us all going to a park and some other cute ones.

Also, Larry found out today he goes back to Canada next week for 3 weeks so I am single mom once again. Bummer. But I think it will be a little bit easier this time. One, Grace will not be four weeks old this time and Hunter has been sleeping through the night, expect for last night! Two, I am not starting up a new job this time and I don't have to drive to Canby to drop off the kids at daycare and drive to Portland and drive back to Canby after work after 6:30pm to pick up the kids. This time the kids come with me to Canby and we all stay there and I pick them up after work at around 5pm! Doesn't that sound just a little bit easier? I just gotta figure out how to take showers in the am and not wake up both kids and how to get Hunter to take a shower, since he is still afraid of the bath and shower, while Grace is awake. It will all work out I know but since I have only a few days to fret about this before he leaves of course I have to think of the things we are struggling with right now with the kids. I think another boot camp is in order this weekend for Miss Grace so I can sleep the whole night through when Lar is gone. Doesn't that sound good? Night all!

Alot of Firsts!

I am very behind in blogging and very behind in posting pictures. Life has been crazy! I had to work M-F last week and Grace was sick with both eyes having pink eye than an ear infection than a tooth came than she got a rash from her antibiotic than she got an ear infection in the other ear all in one week time! Big time kuddos to my mother who watch Miss Grace for my so I could work all those days and dealt with her and her fever and her teething! Thanks a bunch I owe you! So I am very behind in all of Grace's first so here goes!

***She got her first tooth on Wednesday! Yeah girl! She is alot later in getting then Hunter was. I think he was 6 months old when he got his.

***She is eating alot more people food. She had her first Nilla this weekend. She loves those!

***She went on her first trip away from home today! We took her to the beach! She liked it but it was alittle cold. We went for our anniversary which is tomorrow so we thought we would spend it with the kids. I think that is it for firsts that I can think of. She is quite the ham.

Info on Mr. Hunter...

He is growing like a weed! He is learning how to share and it is a hard thing for him especially with Grace and at Daycare but we are learning and taking baby steps toward it. He is so independent and wants things his way not what the other kids want to do.

Hunter went to his first kids birthday party yesterday! Miss Tevia, Emily's daughter turned 2 on friday. Hunter and I went to the party and Grace and Larry stayed home cause I didn't want her to expose anyone even though she was 100% better. He had a good time and kept to himself and me. He wanted to make sure that we had the same thing. He made sure I had a cup of water like he did, that he had the same chair that I did, that I had the same food on my plate that he did. I think that was his way of making himself comfortable. It was cute to be pampered by him but he did play with the other 2 year olds for a little bit they were alot smaller than him so I think he thought they were babies and didn't want to do to much with them.

He loved the beach today! He could have just walked and threw rocks in the water all day. He was scared of the ocean though and when it got near him he ran the other way terrified that the ocean would get him. Poor thing. I think it was because I am not an ocean person and I had my tennis shoes on and was trying not to get wet and Larry had Grace on him but he was getting wet. Maybe next time it will be warmer and I will venture in the cold water. I will try to post pics in a collage later this week from the beach.

Also, Hunter is much better with showers and we even got him to take a bath the other day with Grace but he hasn't been in since but he lets her take baths now so we are getting somewhere.

This is him venturing to the ocean. Seems very brave but you can't see his face. When he was playing in the creek an ocean wave came in and freaked him out and he was all done with the ocean didn't want to go near it again so he just played further away from the ocean and talked about it.It was a nice trip I will try to put more pics on Picasa in a slideshow. We had a great time but we went early and just spend the morning there so Grace would sleep in the car for her morning nap and wake up when we got there. It was cold and by the time it was noon it was getting more sun but we had to jet to make sure the kids feel asleep in the car.

Tomorrow will be Lar's and I 's 7th wedding anniversary! Crazy how time flies! Who would have know we would have 2 kids at this time in our life! I wouldn't change it for the world!

It's official...

Hunter is finally 2 1/2 years old! We have been saying he is for about a month or so but now he truly is! My little man is getting so big and old! He is such a hoot and I love the little guy to death!

Fear!

I am amazed at how well Hunter is adjusting to Miss Grace. He still has his issues with her and tells her "No, Baby Grace that is my toy" so we are working on that one. They love to play together in Hunter's room or I should say that Grace does. You can place this little girl anywhere and put toys in front of her and if she has her core people she knows than she is happy as a clam but you walk out of her vision and she will not be happy with you. Poor Grace doesn't have a room of her own yet but in time she will but she loves playing with all of Hunter's toys she will put them in her mouth drool all over them and gag on them cause she has them to far in her mouth. She is starting to like to lift herself up more when she is on her belly. And started to make some effort to move forward! Life is alot easier now that Hunter isn't going through his terrible two's and seems more carefree about life. The only issue we are having with him is fear. For some reason for the last month he is terribly afraid of the bathroom tub drain. And this is a child who used to LOVE baths and showers and all water related things! I haven't found the true source of this fear but I think it has to do with the swimming pool at my in-laws. He totally loves to swim in it but it has a drain system on the side and we didn't want him to put his fingers in it so I think someone accidently told him he would go down the drain or something like that. Or he could have heard it on the TV or a kid. He is such a smart little guy he remembers everything! At first he will not go in the tub or let Larry or Grace go in it and would freak out if the water was turned on and he would put the drain spout up and down. It took us 4 days to finally clean this boy in the shower. He wouldn't even take showers cause of the drain. We finally got him in the shower and having fun not screaming about a week ago. How did we do it? Even though we tell him daily that he isn't going down the drain he has been loving watching Little Einsteins so we told him we would get him a Little Einstein toy if he took a shower and he was all for it. After his peaceful shower and talk about not going down the drain and him actually laying on the tub floor watching the water and bubbles going down the drain we took a smiling, clean boy to the store that night. Lar had to go to 3 stores to find a toy and finally came home with a stuffed Rocket! Hunter loves it and he has been taking showers every day since. He even lets Grace take a bath in the tub. We are progressing, yeah! He also gets scared watching some things on Seasame Street and he covers his eyes with his hands or runs to the kitchen if something scares him on Baby Einstein or Little Einstein. From what I can tell it is bugs or characters that have some quality about them that makes him scared. I feel horrible that he gets so scared of things so I hope he gets to trusting things better. His new rocket has also helped us in the sleeping department. He goes down great at night but it could take him about 30 minutes to finally fall asleep now that he has rocket he doesn't make a sound and falls asleep pretty quick! Yeah for rocket! I have so many pics to put on my blog I just haven't had any time yet maybe this thursday.
