Misha, Papa's work boots, and Scrapbooking!

Misha survived her dew claw trimming! She didn't need surgery they just cut her dew claw back past the break and wrapped her up! Yeah! And it didn't cost an arm and a leg! Here is a pic with her wrap that stayed on maybe 30 min and was supposed to stay on a couple of hours. She didn't want it on obviously. Alright well I guess that picture got deleted in the camera. My bad. Her wrap was cute it was red and white. Here is a picture of her this am. I wash the bedding on Sunday's that is why we have no sheets on our bed. Hunter woke us up at 5:45 am today doesn't Misha look like she is ready for another baby in the house! Not! Poor thing she just need another hour of sleep like the rest of us!Last night Hunter had so much energy for only have one nap and we were trying to keep him entertained. Here he is in Lar's new work boots he had to get for Canada. The are huge! He will be in an area that is -20 degrees so he needs good insulated boots. Hunter loves them and you can see how tall they are! He is so cute in them and yes it was a struggle to get him to stop playing with them.

Since we were up so early this am I was able to finish the last 3 pages I couldn't do last night in my last scrapbook! You read right! I am officially done with Hunter's 2007 scrapbook project! Yeah! I was able to put October through December 2007 all in one! I have no more loose pictures of him in a folder! Yeah! All I have to do now is use a scrapbook set that my mother got from Costco and I will hopefully fly through 2008 before little Miss comes! I love getting projects checked off my list!

Christmas lights!

After we went out to Mexican dinner last night we took Hunter and Misha to PIR last night to see the Christmas lights. Hunter had a great time and as you can tell in the pictures I didn't clean his face very well from dinner. Could have been that he isn't the greatest child to take to restaurants and he was done with being there before we were done with our food. So we chowed and left before he started being annoying to everyone else. That is why his face isn't the cleanest and he wasn't sitting by me so I didn't clean it. Any who! Hunter had a great time we rolled down the window and yes it was cold and yes he doesn't have a hat on but he had to have the window down to see the lights better! He doesn't like hats on in the car so that is why it isn't on. We would open the sun roof when there were lights above us and he really liked those it was nice and bright! Misha looked out the window that whole time and yes her window was open to so she could get some fresh cold air. The heat was on in the car! When we were driving to PIR we were trying to find Christmas music to play on SIRUS and we couldn't find it after listening through all the stations Larry finally found it on a station we would never have known it was on. It was nice to have the Christmas music on the radio and to hang out with our family in the car. It also is crazy that Larry knows almost all the words to every Christmas song that came on and I had no clue! Here are pics of Hunter~

These aren't the greatest pictures because I took them while I was in the passenger's seat with my big ole belly trying to turn and take pictures of them in the backseat! That is why they have weird angles but I tried!

Poor Mish is at the vet's right now getting her dew claw looked at. Her dew claw is cut in half hanging on her paw but in a diagonal direction. She hurt it around Thanksgiving week and we had to wait for pay day to come so we could take her in. Hopefully they can just cut the claw but I am pretty sure she has to have it completely removed with surgery. Will see. She has been limping around here off and on for days. We haven't been able to take her for walks cause she starts limping. So will see what happens. She knew something was up this am cause she looked like the saddest dog ever!

We got a talker!

For some reason the week of Thanksgiving Hunter has found his voice. He would talk before but now his vocabulary has gotten bigger! He loves to talk and talk and talk. Some words you can understand some you can't. He gets very close to saying the word right but not quite. He says up, down, open, close, hot, cold, and my new favorite, no! And all of these words came out of his mouth in just the last few days. He loves the word no and he says it in a high pitch voice it is wonderful, not. I am trying to get him to not say it and not say it so high! When he takes a bath and is swimming he says up when he lifts the front of him up with his hands and down when he puts his elbows down and says it like 10 times! He randomly says hot and cold about 1o times also I think he likes to just say it. He is such a smart cookie. When we take him to the store he says touch cause he wants to touch something. When he sees his milk in the freezer at the grocery store he yells baa a few times really loud and proceeds to say it when the carton is in the cart. He yells bus, truck, car when we are driving. He is such a chatter bug it is pretty cute.

Putting up Christmas without spending money!

We put up Christmas stuff today. We had to decide if we were going to get a real tree or use the small fake one my mother let us use the last few years. Fake one won it is kinda crazy how expensive Christmas trees are. The fake one is kinda small and I was trying to figure out how to get it up higher in the air. Last year, I had it up on a coffee table by our couch it looked okay Lucy would lay on the couch arm underneath it. I got creative with what to do this year. I was going to get a box and put Christmas wrap on it and put the tree on top of it! We just didn't have a box so when Larry went to the shed he came back with a milk carton box and we wrapped it up and put the tree on it! It looks great and it is just Hunter's height. He has to touch all the ornaments and one ornament has already been broken. Oh well that is what happens. Here's a picture of our tree!~
When Larry brought all the Christmas bins in he hung up the Christmas lights on the house and Hunter and I went through the bins. We came across this wooden tree with lights! Hunter loves any type of lights and that is an understatement! He is a light lover! These are pictures of him with it!~
Oh my was he in heaven! He played with it the whole time I put stuff up. He would put the lights in the holes and take them out and did that many times. It now sits on our living room floor and we turn it on when we come home. It went in his room during nap time. He loves it and hopefully after Christmas he will let us put it back in the bin! Touch D!

I have to blog this so I can read and remember it years from now! Hunter and I were playing with toys on the couch while Larry had the Ducks/Beavers game on the TV and Larry was doing stuff on the computer in the kitchen. Anyways, we didn't watch the whole game but at this time there was alot of touchdowns and I kept putting my hands up in the air and saying touchdown! Hunter thought I was funny but I was trying to get him to do it. By the end of the night he didn't raise his hands but would say touch d! Super cute! I think that his Uncle Corey would be proud of him! Bummer I couldn't get Hunter to raise his hands! Maybe next year cause I don't watch alot of football.

Larry and I haven't said much to Hunter about Little Miss except when we found out I was pregnant we told him he was having a baby brother or sister and when we found out we were having a girl we told him he was having a sister. Anywho, when Dan was here for Thanksgiving the first day he was showing Hunter were his baby sister was and kept pointing to my belly and Dan did that a few times and than Hunter out of the blue pointed at my belly and said baby. But the story doesn't end there. Lindsey was sitting right by us so Dan pointed to Lindsey and pointed at her belly so Hunter went up to her and pointed his finger at her belly and said baby and Annie was sitting right by Lindsey and Hunter went right to her belly after Lindsey and pointed at her belly and said baby! It was too funny obviously Dan did not point at his mother's own belly Hunter was just on a roll. It was a good laugh. We do tell him that things are his baby sister's stuff and he says baby so we are slowly introducing her but I just didn't want to confuse him since he is such a smart little cookie!

It has been nice hanging out so much with the boys this long week and weekend it will be hard to go back to work tomorrow!

Thanksgiving!

We enjoyed three thanksgiving dinners this year. Larry made one for us and my dad on Wednesday night, my mother made us a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner for lunch, and my in-laws had a yummy Thanksgiving dinner for dinner. I didn't get sick of Thanksgiving dinner either! I was trying to eat more to grow more and I did! Dan came home for Thanksgiving and by the end of the day he said I looked bigger and I think he was right! It was nice to hang out with family for the last few days. I also got some things off my list of things we needed to get for Hunter and Little Miss. My mother went to the Fred Meyer sock sale and got me some socks for Hunter since he needed them bad. Thank you so much mother! Dan suprised us today with a small size crib that we needed for Little Miss since the big boy bed idea didn't work and we needed another crib in the house and I was stressing about it. I know I could use the co-sleeper that we got when we had Hunter for her but I wasn't sure how Hunter would be with her in their and how she would sleep with little fingers trying to touch her since it would be at Hunter's level. I also didn't want to keep her in the co-sleeper forever. So thanks Dan I really appreciate it! I feel alot better that she has clothes in her drawers now to! Things are coming together! Now we just have to wait for Lindsey and Corey's baby to come than Christmas than New Years! At least we are finally checking off holidays! Who knew I would want time to go so fast just so we can have her finally here! I better enjoy the days while I can especially since Hunter is being quiet the talker! He told Dan today that he wanted down. He used all three words! I wasn't there to hear it I was at work but he is starting to put words together! I guess he said no today too! Gonna love that word let me tell you! The last two or three days he has turned into a chatter box it is crazy! Anyways, we had a nice Thanksgiving even though it was busy and we had to work around Hunter's naps it was very nice. We have much to be thankful for! I brought my camera with me but I didn't take a single picture this holiday! Not sure what my deal is maybe it is because I have a very active, talkative boy and I don't have time to get the camera! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

50 days left and ketchup!

I can't believe I have 50 +/- days left before Little Miss is here! The time has just flown. But it still feels like she will not be here in forever. I have to wait for Thanksgiving, Lindsey to have hers, Christmas, and than the New Year than it will be her turn! Isn't that alot to go through still? I think so! I had a doctor's appt today. Didn't gain any weight in the last 2 weeks and I am still down on my belly measurements but no ultrasound has been ordered so we are good! I am growing just not at a great speed. I didn't have another ultrasound until 3 weeks before Hunter was born cause I was losing weight and he was already 8 lbs at that ultrasound and he came out 8 lbs 1 oz so I am thinking this little girl is just following her brother's track just at a slower rate. I have been craving M&M blizzards this last week but haven't gotten any yet. Lar's on a diet and working out so it is hard to eat them in front of him or have him go take a Dairy Queen run. He did ask my doctor if daily blizzards were ok and she said yes cause it is a good source of calcium and sugar for energy! So there Lar!
Today, I also cleaned two big bags of girl clothes that I got from a co-worker that she got at the Goodwill. At first, the clothes looked all ratty and smokey but after a good clean with baby detergent and detergent powder they look great! I feel so much better cause now her drawers are getting more clothes in them and I don't have to stress out about not having enough clothes for her or putting her in blue!
We just had my dad over for a pre-Thanksgiving meal. We had a good time. Poor dad had to see how stubborn and independent Hunter is and how he is with his terrible 2's! Hopefully it wasn't too much for him. Larry made the whole meal it was wonderful! He is such a good cook and thinks of everything! Hunter didn't eat much but that didn't suprise us he is such a pasta boy it is crazy. This week he started eating more food though and it is all because of ketchup! He loves to dip anything in ketchup! The other day he dipped his golfish crackers in it! He is such a nut but if it gets him to eat food more power to him! He can't have it smeared on his food it has to be in a pile and he has to have the bottle close by. He is such a loon. What else has happened lately? I think that is about it. I get to hang out with family tomorrow and work on Friday so it will be nice to have slept in 2 days in a row during the week! I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow! Have fun with family and eating turkey! Try something new this year and add ketchup to your plate cause Hunter will have some on his!

Scrapbook, park, and shoes!

I finished Hunter's Sept 2007 scrapbook today! Yeah! Here it is! I figured out that I think I have two more scrapbooks left to do since I stopped buying and printing pictures before Christmas! All I have to do is a one scrapbook of Hunter for 2008 and my mother helped me with that with getting cool papers from Costco! But I can't do those until I get my loose pictures done but I am so close!

Here are some pcitures I took last wednesday when Larry was in Canada for 4 days and it was just me and the little man. We went to a smaller park with alot smaller slides and I didn't go on any of them this time.

Larry and I finally took Hunter to StrideRite to get another pair of shoes cause he has needed it. I think the last pair I got was 2 almost 3 months ago. I felt really bad when the girl said he is in 8 Wides cause the pair he has been wearing are 6 1/2 Wides! Poor buddy his daddy long leg toes were getting squished! I can't believe how fast he is going through shoes and that he has such big feet! I wear size 8 in adults! He will definitely be a spending kid the rate he is going with shoes!

Flipping!

I think that I am on week 3 of flipping back on forth on my hips when I am trying to sleep at night! I wake up every hour or two all through the night trying to keep my hips comfy! It has finally driven me crazy! Once I am up I can't fall asleep right away and than I finally do and I am up again turning over on my other side to make my other hip not hurt! I didn't have this with Hunter I had leg cramps that would wake me up at night not sure which one is worse. So needless to say this flipping is making me tired during the day especially work days. And yes I am using a pillow between my legs but sometimes I think that it makes it worse! Any suggestions? I have drank sleepytime tea, no help. I have taken Tyenol PM, no help with the flips but feel like I slept harder with it but I don't want to take it every night. Oh well, I am constantly yawning in the am and again in the pm. Guess I gotta deal with it, it goes with pregnancy. Hunter hasn't been taking his am naps well this weekend I think they are gonna be done her shortly bummer! I have been trying to catch up on my sleep through his naps I guess it will just have to happen during the afternoon one!

I just have 3 more holiday's to go through before she is born! Seems like so much! I only work 2 1/2 days this week, Yeah! Maybe I will get alot caught up, probably not though. Keeping Hunter entertained and busy is a job in itself! He has been an awesome laundry helper though! He knows how to do the whole cycle! He pulls out the clean clothes from the dryer hands them to me and if any socks or clothes fall on the floor he picks them up and I put the wet clothes on the dryer door and he pushes them in and throws the dryer sheet in and closes the door. He drags the empty laundry bucket to the bathroom in the right spot! Today, he did a new thing. I do laundry on Wednesday's and Saturday's of all the clothes and on Sunday I clean the sheets, blankets, and comforters anyways he helped me drag the comforters to the laundry room! He is a hoot! Such a great little helper especially now when it is getting harder to bend down and pick things up! Hope this helpful phase stays awhile!

Cutie!

Finally took some pictures of Hunter! I took more of when he was in the bath the other night but I didn't want to post them cause I didn't want him to hate me when he was 18. He started to swim in the bath tub last week! He loves to lay on his belly and kick his feet. It is so weird to see his buns now! He is such ham in the bathtub. Here is a picture of him in the tub but I don't think he will mind this one it doesn't show his cute buns!

Little Miss is marking her territory all the time in my belly! She is very brutal and makes her presence know alot more than Hunter did. I toss and turn from about 4 am on my hips can't get comfy and than I am up at 5:45am to start my day. I would love to sleep better but I would take loss of sleep over morning sickness any day. Never did really have morning sickness with either pregnancy Thank goodness! She also has hiccups daily it is the wierdest feeling! We still haven't told Hunter much about his new little sister yet. I am waiting for Lindsey and Corey to have their baby first and than will rock Hunter's world that way! Lindsey is due 12/05 she is getting so close! We are very excited for her I think she is having a boy but I haven't been right with baby guesses in a long time! Larry is going to be an Uncle for the first time soon!

Sliding!

I haven't blogged in forever! I also haven't taken any pictures! Not sure why not just busy and lazy, I guess. Today, Huter and I went and played at a park that had a playground and a huge area to walk. He had a blast walking in the leaves and going and going and going. He wasn't happy with me when I had to turn him around cause he would have went in the road but that is just him being stubborn and independent. This park has about 5 slides and of course Hunter had to go to the highest one that had a fake plastic climbing wall to it and I couldn't get to him in time when he got to the top and he wanted to go down face first on the slide thank goodness he turned around on his butt and went down. After the third time of going down and me almost having a heart attack cause he wanted to go down either backwards on his butt or head first I went with him on the last run. Bad idea! It is not a good idea when you are big and 31 weeks pregnant trying to get yourself in a tube slide while holding a child over 30 lbs and making sure you both don't land on your butt's when you get to the bottom of the slide with your belly in the way and trying to keep your shoes from making you flip or drop a child down the slide and no one to catch him. I swear my belly was tight for 1/2 hour after that and my heart was a racing. Slides are for Larry and Hunter not for me!

My new look!

Yes, I finally changed my blog! It totally need it! The last one was more for the boys but now this look is more me! I guess I am feeling more girly since I have more pinks and purples in my house now! We finally decided on a name for this little girl, at least I think we have! I have returned all the name books back to the library so I hope we are a go on this name! I can't tell you what it is cause Larry wants it to be a secret so will see how that lasts. I am good with the name but I am not sure about the middle name I like three names and I am not sure if the one we choose will stay or not. I tell you naming this little person was alot harder than Hunter's! Wonder why? I keep wondering if she will have red hair or not. I really want her to but if she doesn't oh well. Hunter has brown hair with a tinge of red in it. It is more auburn than anything and the summer it has more blonde in it so I think it just keeps changing. It is not brown cause Larry has brown hair and when Hunter sits/lays by him you can see the reddishness in it.

75 days left!

I can't believe I have 75 days left until our due date. Hunter was 4 days late so will see what this pregnancy brings! We had a great Saturday. Hunter didn't take his am nap so he went down early for his afternoon nap and I napped also and we were up before 3pm and had no clue what to do the rest of the day. I read in Cammie's blog about a park in Wilsonville and Larry happened to have mentioned it so we went in the rain to play at it. Hunter had a great time didn't even phase him with the rain. We just let him roam and play until it started to pour and than he was done. That is what we have learned with him. He loves to explore on his own and if you force him to do something he doesn't like it so we just let him go and if he wants to do stuff with us cool if not we just watch and follow. We came home and he watched some Seasame Street while I scrapbooked. I never scrapbook when he is awake and I actually got to do over an hour of it and my bum was sore! But I got so much done that when we put Hunter to bed an hour early at 8pm I was right back at it! I finished it at 10:00pm! I did almost a whole scrapbook in one day! Crazy! July and Aug 2008 is done!

Halloween 2008

Misha was supposed to be Princess Laya (or however you spell her name) but her legs were to short for the costume. So she went without one this year. Bummer. Hunter was Elmo! He loves Elmo and was a little confused when he saw the costume cause he wanted to play with it instead of wear it. He didn't like wearing it at first but we had to rush out of the house to get to all the families houses to make our rounds. He started off shy and not sure but towards the end got the nack for what we were doing. Even helped Grandma Robinson give candy out to kids. I tried to take pictures of him but he wouldn't stay still and the Elmo head was a little crooked so it would not show his face.
