I did it!

I finished his scrapbook! March/April 2007 is done! Yeah! Here are some pics. I am off to nap with Hunter! I think I have about 5 more books to go cause I stopped printing pictures after Christmas so I am trying to get those in books instead of keeping them in envelopes! I have finished two scrapbooks about Hunter one of all when he was born and now this one. I have one more baby journal type book I gotta finish also but that has more journaling in it and I am doing it at the same time I do the scrapbooks. I am excited to venture onto May/June! I am on a roll!

Normal!

Yeah! Hunter's colonoscopy came back normal! We found out last week I just haven't had a chance to blog been another busy week. Larry and I have decided that since everything so far has come back normal that we will not do anymore testing unless Hunter keeps having blood/blood clots in his stool. He has been through enough with the colonoscopy. We will just keep giving him his laxative everyday and hope that helps him. Here is a picture of him the day of his colonoscopy. He finally feel asleep for his afternoon nap at 4pm and he feel asleep on his warm papa. Larry feel asleep with him. We transferred him to his crib after awhile and he slept for two hours and Larry woke him up so he wouldn't sleep the evening away. He's cheeks are red from the straps of the oxygen mask. Poor thing!

Here are pictures from this weekend. Larry put Hunter in his sweats in the am and he looked so cute I was trying to get a picture of them but I wasn't getting the right shot.

His four teeth are still coming through so he has been kinda cranky with those but I keep giving him Tylenol which is helping! I am 6 months now time is flying with this pregnancy. We have decided to stay in our house after she is born and she will stay in our room for a few months until Larry gets his thesis done which should be this May/June. So I am slowly getting our room adjusted for a crib and drawers. After finishing the thesis will look for another house and maybe get a van! Who would have thought we would have a mini-van! Larry has been doing a good job working on his thesis that is why I haven't been blogging much I do when he isn't on the computer. I have been working on lots of projects this weekend. I weeded some in front of our house and organized our shed as best as I could. I was pretty sore after doing both of those yesterday. Today, I am going to try to finish a scrapbook of Hunter from March/April 2007! My goal is to finish all his scrapbooks before this little girl comes! Will see! Hope everyone is well gotta jet little dude is getting into something...

Back to Daycare!

These are pictures taken a couple of weeks ago but I just forgot to post them. My mother watched Hunter for us at our house for about a month while Annie was recouping from surgery. Thanks Mother for watching him! She got him a spiderman pack back to go back to daycare with. For some reason I didn't take pictures of him with it had a brain-o moment, but Annie took pictures of him with it and he looks so big and grown up! He loves it thanks again, Nana!

Colonoscopy done!

Day two of the weekend went pretty smooth. We tried to keep Hunter busy around the house cause we didn't know when the prep would kick in. He watched lots of Elmo, Seasame Street, and Baby Einstein but he was happy. He didn't eat much though. By lunch Jello wasn't cool anymore and by dinner popsicles weren't cool either and he didn't like the broth I think it was too salty. I tried using the straw to get him to eat it but he took one sip and made his not like face. He went to bed much easier last night at his regular scheduled bedtime, which was such a relief! He slept the whole night through and woke up at 5:30 am all grumpy! Larry and I didn't get much sleep with thinking of what was gonna happen and if it was gonna go on. I had told Larry on Sunday afternoon that Hunter was having this procedure at Emanuel and he said we had to go to Providence Hospitals so I was an emotional wreck cause I couldn't believe we were almost done with the weekend and here I had him going to the wrong place even though the GI office said the hospital took our insurance. After trying to cancel the whole thing with the GI on Sunday the GI doctor said it was a go cause the insurance approved it. We couldn't reach the insurance on Sunday so Larry called first thing at 6 am on Monday and they said it was approved. Thank goodness because I didn't want Hunter to go through liquids only all over again and I didn't want to pay for this procedure when our insurance pays at 100%. Anyways, back to today. Hunter was a trooper. The doctor didn't find anything in his intestines no polyps so she took two biopsies of his lining in different areas and will see what that shows. If it comes back fine than he will have an MRI to see if he has two appendixes that can cause his symptoms in 2 year olds even though he is 18 mo, he just looks like a 2 year old. I feel bad for all the parents that have to go through surgeries with their kids. This wasn't fun and just knowing he was put under and someone was doing something to him and your not there to make sure he is ok and that they aren't hurting him is tough. He was away from us for an hour with the procedure and another hour in recovery. When we saw him he wasn't happy at all it was so sad cause he had a raspy voice from the tubing and he didn't like what was on his feet and his makeshift IV site. They had to give him more pain meds when we saw him and after 5 minutes you could tell that is what he needed. He wasn't a happy camper for the next 30-45 minutes but as soon as he was given some goldfish he was a happy boy! He could see the change in him instantly you give a Robinson boy food it makes them happy! His first food in 2 days! And he loves goldfishes! We left the hospital after noon and by 2:00pm he is alot better now. He didn't go down for a nap and he isn't loopy anymore. He is eating more goldfish now and hasn't left the table for about 20 minutes! I better go hang with my little brave boy just wanted to let you all know it is done and will see what becomes of it all.

Clear liquids only!

Hunter has a colonoscopy on Monday am at Emanuel Hospital. He is having it because he gets constipated and has had blood clots in his stool. The doctor is checking for polyps and hopefully it comes back fine and if they don't find polyps they will have to check his other organs so I am hoping for benign polyps. He started his clear liquid diet today at 1 pm and has to do it until his procedure. This means no milk, food, or liquids that you can't see through. This will be tough for him because he loves his baa's (milk in bottles) and gets them before he goes down for naps and bedtime and when he wakes up in the am. We tried our best to feed him alot this am but he hasn't been the hungriest lately. He has four teeth coming in so that could be his reason. He did well this afternoon but didn't go down for his nap and he is still up now!...I am back it is now Sunday day two of clear liquids only! He didn't go to sleep until 9:45pm it was such a sad struggle. He kept wanting his baa and probably still was hungry cause he mostly just goes to bed like a peach. We didn't know what to do so we warmed apple juice up for him and he drank some but kept looking at his bottle. He woke up two times last night but nothing major. I couldn't sleep because I was all worried about him I don't know when all the poo is gonna start coming but it hasn't yet! He had a good one before this all started so maybe he is a little cleaned out. He hasn't taken all the laxative powder I have tried his sippy cups what since he is teething he just chews them and drinks a little so hopefully he is getting enough. Yesterday for his dinner he had green jello and a popsicle I haven't tried the chicken broth yet trying to come up with a creative way for him to drink it. This am went well he drank his warm gatorade with laxative included so maybe we will make it through after all. Gotta jet he might go down for a nap here and so will I.

Hunter is gonna have a sister! We found out today we are having a girl! Yeah! Hunter has no clue what he is in for!

Catching up!

I took some cute pictures of Hunter on Wednesday and I finally got a chance to blog! This was him after his 18 mo check and getting shots. Doesn't looked phased?! He had a great time playing on our porch. We were waiting for Larry to come home from work.

It has been a busy week and today was nice and relaxful. I got things done on my list of things to do and Larry started up on his thesis! Yeah! I will not have as much computer time with him working on it but I am not gonna complain about this! So what is new with us. Well, Lucy got out for about an hour a couple of weekends ago. Hunter knows how to open the screen door on the porch so I think she made her departure that way. We went to the store for an hour and came home to see her running like a scared cat in the back yard. She is one lucky cat that we saw her. Ever since then she has been a pain and wants out again. I don't think she remembers how scared she was. She only meows at my feet as soon as I come home wanting out it drives me crazy! I hoping she will forget her minutes of outdoor freedom. Kramer, no change with him he still has problems with having a clean bum and he sleeps alot but that isn't new. Misha, is getting more mellow. I think she is getting used to her "baby" taking over the place. Hunter not only has a pediatric doctor but a GI doctor! Poor thing. He has issues with constipation and blood clots in his stool. We saw the GI doctor a month ago and she ran blood tests that came back normal even the one for allergins to food and his stool culture came back fine, thank goodness! But since he has had two episodes of blood clots in his stool and one time was with my mother and the other time with Annie he has to see the peds GI doc sooner than he was scheduled to follow up with. He hasn't had any issues with constipation in a few weeks he used to go a day and half without a bowel movement and than he would be in agony and it would always start happening at 1-2am. He is on a daily laxative powder and it has helped alot he is happy as a clam! He is regular to over regular and he has slept through the night ever since we started him on it daily! Poor kid being on a laxative! Hunter's GI appt is this Thursday and his pediatric doctor said the next step is a colonoscopy with biopsies. I feel so bad he is probably gonna have to get it done. But I want to make sure he is ok and doesn't have any issues with his belly so if this is the way to do it and we get answers then I gotta buck up and get it done. I have never had one but the thought of him having to go through it all makes me very sad. But we will know on Thursday but I am very sure this is what the GI will tell us. Larry is doing good. He is busy with work and getting motivated to do his thesis! So excited! I am doing good. Growing slowly but I am not worried cause I am pretty sure I am on the same course as I was with Hunter and he was 8lbs 1oz when he came out! I don't have many cravings except I love anything chocolatey or sugary! But I did before being pregnant I just eat even more of it. That is all our news nothing to exciting except for Hunter's bowel drama. We find out on Wednesday what this little baby is! Yeah! Also, our 6th Anniversary is tomorrow! Crazy! Hope everyone is well!

Weight~29 lbs (85-86%)

Height~34.8 in (97%)

Head Circ~20.5 in (100%, so far this one has never changed %!)

He did good with his shots as soon as the bandages were on he was all better! He will not have to have anymore until he is 4 years old! Yeah!

18 month's old!

Were did my baby go!? I can't believe Hunter is 18 mo old today! He is such a fun little man to have in our lives and I can't believe he is almost two! Here are pictures from Black Butte, finally!

This picture was taken at the fish hatchery he is on Corey's back with Larry's pack. Looks pretty happy to me! The second picture I think he was watching the dogs on the deck and not the fish!

This is Reese. Corey and Lindsey's dog. She loved Hunter's crib blanket! Doesn't she look cute all snuggled on it!?

This picture was taken last night before Hunter went to bed. Notice the missing feet on his pajamas! I had to cut them all. He got 3 pairs of these cute monkey pajamas from different family members. Popular style! He now has started going to bed on his own! After his bath, he watches his movie and drinks his bottle and when he is done he gets his blanket and goes to his room and latches himself to his crib. It is the coolest thing cause we know he is ready to go down. So I pick him up and we go give Papa loves and say goodnight to all the animals and he goes down like a charm. He has started giving kisses with his pacifer (which we are using alot less, yeah! it will be almost gone soon!) at night he started this at Black Butte it is the cutest thing. He is such a love! I heard he is giving kisses at daycare! Such a player!

Labor Day weekend!

I know I am a weekend behind! But, last weekend and this week have been busy. I also don't have our camera cause I left it behind at the place we were and I haven't got it back yet. Last weekend the plan was to go to Black Butte with Lindsey, Corey, Annie, and Lonnie and the dogs and stay the whole weekend in a house Corey's family has. Our plans kinda got side tracked when Larry wasn't feeling good on Thurday and still on Friday. He had a sore throat and by Saturday am it wasn't going away. He went to Canby's Urgent care first thing when it opened cause the fam was leaving to go to Black Butte in the am and we still hadn't packed yet cause we didn't know if we were going. The doctor checked his ears and he had infection in both of them and his throat looked terrible but she didn't swab it cause he was gonna be given antibiotics anyways for his ears so she said he had strep. Bummer. I had packed up Hunter's things while he was at the clinic and put him down for his am nap. Once he woke up and a couple of hours of figuring out what we were gonna do go or not go we/I decided that Hunter, myself, and Misha would go to Black Butte during Hunter's pm nap and leave Larry home to get better. My mother had been watching Hunter for I think 3 weeks at our house cause Annie had surgery so Hunter needed to get out of the house! We loaded up and set forth to Black Butte! First off I have never driven there or to Bend so I had no clue on how to get there! It took us an hour to get to I-5 to 205 by Wilsonville and I was almost ready to turn around and go home cause I knew it would take us another 3 hours to get there! But I didn't and Hunter's 3 hour nap was only 30 minutes! He was not a happy camper the rest of the trip but we made it there and had a nice time! We missed Larry alot and everyone was helpful with Hunter and taking Misha for walks! I haven't seen the pictures yet but we went to the fish hatchery and Lindsey took pictures from our camera of Hunter packing with Corey so when I get our camera back I will post them! We came home on Monday night and Larry wasn't feeling good cause the Amoxicillin wasn't making his belly happy! Poor guy! The next day he got another antibiotic and started feeling better!

20 weeks!

I thought I was 20 weeks tomorrow but I guess it is today! Yeah I am half way done with this pregnancy! So far it hasn't been that bad. I am starting to wear maternity clothes. I had to go get some yesterday cause all the ones I had for Hunter were for winter since I am two months ahead with this pregnancy. Thank goodness clothes haven't gotten any more expensive. Our Ultrasound is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept 17th in the am which is awesome cause Hunter's was in the evening and it made for a long day! So what does everyone think we are having? Boy or girl? Hunter's dislikes!

I love Hunter dearly but he has turned into his own little person! He is very independent and stubborn and smart all at the same time. This a.m. I was getting ready in the bathroom and he came waltzing in like he owned the place closed the bathroom door put up the toliet seats (both of them) and put his backside against the toliet for a few seconds turned around put one of the seats down and flushed the toliet. Crazy! This little guy is constantly learning and watching us! Maybe I can get him potty trained before Robinson No. 2 comes! I little more info about him is that he dislikes shopping carts. He hates sitting in the seat and being strapped in! It is a pain especially when we have to go to the store or Costco! He does like the carts shaped as cars but only for a little bit. He is starting to not like strollers also. Why you ask? It is all about the strap and not doing what he wants to do! He is so stubborn! He also just started not liking his pajamas. I love getting nice fuzzy pajamas with the feet in them for him but he fights for all his might when we put them on him after bath time that it isn't worth it anymore. He pulls on the feet like they are burning him and the other day he started pulling on his sleeves! Very sad that pajamas with feets are no more. I love them and that was one of the exciting things I thought about when I was wanting to be a mom is to put them on my kids oh well another thing for us to enjoy with the next little person. He has become independent on his socks. He either wears them or doesn't and it doesn't matter what or when he will take them off on his time and let you put them on him pretty much only when he knows he is going somewhere. You can also tell when Hunter doesn't want something he will make the psst sound or raise his hand at it. Lovely I know. Honestly he is a sweet boy he gives loves and sits in your lap to play with toys and has the greatest smile. I am just telling you about how he works this month will see what new thing shows up next month!

Suprise!

This weekend as been very busy because of Larry's suprise! I had told him that I wanted to work on our very full, cluttered pantry this weekend. Which meant all the stuff that wasn't staying in the pantry was going in his shed. I was just preparing him for cleaning his shed. He was thrilled, not really. Anywho, Hunter woke up from his am nap and Larry said he had to go to Home Depot I didn't even ask why I just thought he wsa getting something we needed. He came back with an early anniversary gift! Our anniversary is Sept 14th so he was nice early. When we bought the house I wanted storage in the laundry room and had great ideas but than I forgot about them cause I knew that it would cost alot and Larry would have to do them. My suprise was brand new white cabinets for the laundry room! I was shocked and thrilled! Larry put them up in under 2 hours and the laundry room looks awesome! We keep going in there! I went to look at them probably 15 times yesterday. This a.m. I was able to put stuff in them! I love to organize! Clutter!

New cabinets! Yeah! The next project which will take awhile to get to is to move the washing machine by the dryer and put a deep sink where the washer is. Alot of underground work and plumbing but maybe that will be another suprise down the line! I forgot to take a picture of the pantry but it looks alot better less clutter!

Book of First's!

It is done! At least all that I can do so far until Hunter does more first that the book covers like when he goes to school and stuff! I am so glad I finally got it done! One goal done before the new Robinson shows up. I gotta couple more scrapbooking projects to go! Here is a couple of pictures of it sorry it is so dark and you can see the flash!

A little about me!

I was thinking the other day I don't write much about me so I thought I would tell you all what I like to do in my spare time! Which makes me laugh because my spare time is during naps it seems lately! So here goes...

TV shows~I love Jon and Kate plus 8 it shows me I can handle two kids if they can handle 8! I like Kate in the show cause she is funny to watch and I get new ideas from watching her; for example that you can afford to give kids organic food and not break your bank! I love Deadlest Catch I have watched it since the beginning show! It makes me appreciate eating crab when I order it. I love it when they show the Coast Guard helicopter but it makes me sad when they can't find a sinking boat. I love watching Dirty Jobs. Mike Rowe cracks me up and I like his voice. My new fav show I can't remember the name I think it is Ice Truckers and it isn't on our DVR anymore for some reason but he has to do with the big trucks carrying heavy loads on an ice road in Canada. Crazy stuff. I think that is it for TV I don't watch much but I love having a DVR!

Books~Love books! I like Luanne Rice I am reading through all of hers right now. And anything that is English humor I just read Remember Me by Sophie Kinsell (or something like that). Very cute! I try to read a chapter of a book a day. Which is alot less than I did before I was married and had Hunter. I used to stay up till 2-3am just to finish a book. Not anymore!

Scrapbooking~ I love to do this and I haven't been very good at doing it lately! I have been working on Hunter's book of first which I am almost done with. Once I am done with that than my mother made me a diary book for this new little one and I have been slowly plugging away on it. But my biggest goal is to get all the pictures that I developed of Hunter in books before this new little person comes! I have finished one book of pictures when he was born alot of pictures were taken than. I am currently working on his one/two month book! I think I have pictures up to 1 year! I need to get on it! I think I am gonna just Snapfish my scrapbooks from than on. Much easier. Well see I gotta lot of scrapbook stuff so I need to use it up too! I will keep you posted on my goals now that I have broadcasted it to everyone!

Nap~ I love to nap and I have been doing alot of it lately! I am gonna be so bummed when Hunter stop taking his am nap!

Magazines~My favorites are Rachael Ray and Real Simple. I also like Martha Stewart but I don't get hers anymore.

I think that is it. I love crafty things but it seems like I need more time to do them. I love to organize things and you wouldn't think so by the way my house looks but I try! So that is a little about me! How about you?
